ORLANDO, FL – Talk to Logan Thompson and he might tell you that careers, like life sciences and finance, have a way of circling back. In his case, those two worlds now overlap.
As an undergraduate in the 2000s, Thompson gained practical healthcare experience in hospital administration and patient transportation, including the use of some patient-facing medical devices. Later, though, his educational gears shifted to finance and accounting.
And now, roughly 20 years later, Thompson is the first-ever Chief Financial Officer of QualityHub Inc., the top regulatory, quality, and compliance consultancy for the highly regulated industries of medical devices, combination device/drug products, pharmaceuticals, and biologics.
“I have a background of working with many different groups to drive outcomes with people, process, and technology, and I’m excited to do the same … at QualityHub.” – Logan Thompson
“What drew me to QualityHub is how the company adds value for clients in MedTech, pharma, and other regulated spaces,” he said. “We work with clients on compliance and regulatory components, performing audits, training staff, and leading project management, but also strive to be a holistic partner that helps companies drive efficiency and profitability.”
Thompson, who joined QHub as CFO on Jan. 19, is a strategic finance leader with nearly two decades of experience supporting founder-led and private equity-backed healthcare, SaaS, and professional services organizations through high-growth, high-complexity phases.
Thompson brings together the precision of institutional finance and the agility of a start-up. He transforms fragmented systems and processes into streamlined, scalable financial engines to drive growth, power capital events, and prep organizations for their next level of success.
“I have a background of working with many different groups to drive outcomes with people, process, and technology, and I’m excited to do the same with the amazing founders, leadership team, and clients here at QualityHub,” he said.
Founded in 2004 on the principles of quality and a commitment to continuous improvement, QualityHub provides support in an array of technical areas, including product and quality systems development, auditing, complaint handling, supplier control, clinical compliance, training, and much more.
